First performances
This morning we travelled to Markham Lower School, which is only about 6 miles form the Upper School but took more than 45 minutes in the bus because of the unbelievably heavy traffic that seems to be unceasing. We gave a 30 minute concert to the early years children, narrated entirely in Spanish by Nick Walker. After a short break we gave a second concert of about 50 minutes for the primary aged children. Our young musicians performed very well and received a rapturous response.

Great photos of you all. Thank you for keeping us dated with news of the trip. We are impressed with Nick W and his language skills. Hopefully it is an incentive for some to brush up on GCSE Spanish?? Lots of rain here so you selected the right time to go. Play well. Best wishes to you all.
